Just wanted to tell you Novak’s Blog broke in top 100.000 blogs on Technorati and Alexa. For those of you who don’t know, lower numbers mean better blogs.
For some of you these numbers going to look a bit high and unimportant but it’s not that easy to achieve this kind of results. There are millions of other blogs and websites on the net and to rank in 100.000 the best ones it’s a big deal.
My Technorati rank is 77,154 (74,117) and Alexa rank is 79,411 (93,560) which in reality means Novak’s Blog receives a lot of traffic and interest. Daily it receives about 3,000 unique visitors and over 230,000 pageviews a month. I will start to search for advertisers in next couple of weeks since I don’t have the time right now, so all of you, who are interested in advertising on Novak’s blog, can send my a mail to receive more details.
How can you improve your Technorati rank
The best way to increase your Technorati rank is to get other blogs link to your. Every link counts to your Technorati authority. Authority is the number which represents how popular is your blog on Technorati. It’s calculated from your receiving links, favourites and other responses.
Other way to increase your rank is to get your blog favoured.
How can you improve your Alexa rank
To improve your Alexa rank you must know how it works. Alexa collects information from users who have installed an “Alexa Toolbar,” allowing them to provide statistics on web site traffic, as well as lists of related links.
The best way to increase it is to write good content (yeah I know). That way you’ll get more visitors on your blog and maybe some percentage of them will have Alexa Toolbar installed on their browsers. Some even try to encourage users to install Alexa toolbar, which maybe isn’t such a bad idea.

Marko Novak
I started in June and since then some of my posts got really popular (viral). But it’s a hard work, I’m constantly changing things on my blog, testing different ads, I changed the design but found out this design works better with visitors so I changed it back.
What I meant to say is, blogging is hard work. I almost quit three times but always managed to force myself to write. Don’t believe anybody who will try to sell you nice image of blogging on the beach while drinking cocktails. You’ll have to spend a lot of time testing stuff at the beginning but don’t give up.
