As some of you might noticed, Technorati decided to updated blog’s ranks. And that’s not a good thing. I had an authority of 74 and rank of about 72,000. Today I checked on Technorati to find out my authority grew to 76 but so did my rank. It now stands on 90,000+.
For all of you who don’t know how this works. You get authority by participating in Technorati community, by other blogs linking to yours, by people favoriting your blog. The higher the authority, the lower the rank. So, my authority has risen for two points and my rank didn’t drop, instead it has risen to.
I don’t really know why is that, I guess they are changing things at Technorati. I just don’t think that 20,000 blogs overtook me in one day, with my authority rising. I couldn’t find any information on the net about this. If anyone knows what’s going on, post a comment. I would really like to know why there’s such a difference in ranks.

Here is one tip from me, if you would really want to jump up on technorati. Go to google.com type in “You Comment I Follow” find the blogs that have that plugin installed, comment something on their blog but don’t comment as “spammer” be nice read the article they wrote, have opinion about it.
