Do you want free 125×125 ad?

What a stupid question. Of course you want it, who wouldn’t. Well, now is your chance to get free 125×125 ad on Novak’s blog. There are four 125×125 image ads and 10 text-link-ads up for grabs. 14 lucky winners will get free advertising on Novak’s blog for entire January.

I removed my Widgetbucks ad to speed up Novak’s blog loading times. However, now I have some free room to fill in my sidebar. I thought I could use it for 125×125 ads which are standard for blogs. There will be 6 ads available. This means Novak’s blog will have only these 6 ads in sidebar and one AdSense ad in the content. 125×125 ads will be static so you won’t get distracted as you were with Widgetbucks ad. At the moment 4 of them are still available.

Since this is my first time putting up these kind of ads I’ll make it free for first month. To win some free publicity just follow the rules below.

How can you get it?

All you have to do is to write a short review about Novak’s blog on your blog with two links that will link back to the first page of Novak’s blog and to this post. I’ll randomly choose 4 bloggers who will get 125×125 image ads shown on Novak’s blog for entire January. You can also win 10 text-link-ads. The contest will go on until the end of the year. If you don’t know what to write, try something like this:

I’ve just received news about free 125×125 and text-link ads on Novak’s blog. You can read his post about the competition and while you’re there make yourself laugh browsing through some interesting and funny pictures.

After you publish your review drop me an email with link to your review. This is just in case your links doesn’t show in my Wordpress incoming links section.

So, go on and write a review and get free 125×125 ad on Novak’s blog. It’ll only take you couple of minutes to enter the competition. Your ad will receive around 100,000 views and a PR4 link to your blog.

If you don’t want to take a chance to win an ad, you can always buy it. For one month it will cost you only $50. If you decide to buy more than one or if you buy one for more than one month you’ll get a discount.

Hi,
Did you hear about the latest crack down of Google on paid links? Even though you are not charing for the links which you are offering, but i believe this may annoy Google. Please think once again about this competition. All the best.

You are correct Marko, there would be 90% of bloggers then that would be penalized and I am sure that google stock market would go down, because everybody would hate it for monopolizing bloggers. Also this thing with text link ads it;s ridiculous, but I guess it worked for them, because their stock share went up for almost $100 since last two months.

Yes, I heard about it. It was few months ago. But these are not paid links. They’re free. I just want to spread word about Novak’s blog around.

If Google was serious about it, there would be no point of blogging. 125×125 image ads are links the same as text-link-ads. Now tell me, why doesn’t Problogger and other gets penalized?

It’s simple. You have to cover your expenses by blogging and advertising.

Hmm, what to say,

I’ve come to really like your site, and the posts you make. The site design looks very sleak and well designed without going overboard on bright colors or things that distract too much from the part of the page your trying to stress, the content.

The attractive icons at the bottom of each post seem to jump right out of you, however I’m curious as to how succesful the use of those is under circumstances that there is no “high-profile” user browsing your site.

You seem to be pretty good at writing in a sense that it makes people to want to respond in the comments, in combination with other incentives such as free links and adspace.
The comments in turn make people browsing your site see that it’s actualy active and not just “another blog.”

You have a good constant rate of posts (something I’m having trouble with), and although your Stumble on Sunday posts appear to be your most popular, I much rather prefer the actual writing you do.

At the moment I don’t really like how the site looks with the little ads where WidgetBucks used to be. Was WidgetBucks going very unsuccesful, because I actualy quite liked how the ad fit in with the rest of the page contrary to your opinion. Did a lot of your advertising revenue come from foreign countries (outside the U.S.) or was the reason purely from a design standpoint?

In short, great looking active blog, that provides content which makes me want to come back everyday =).

The icons below the posts which should be used for social media are mostly overlooked. It wouldn’t hurt for visitors to use it every now and then (hint hint)

I removed Widgetbucks ad because it really slowed my blog’s loading times. I didn’t like flashing either and the revenue was really bad since the changes took in place. I will remove Widgetbucks referral ad too when this competition is over to fill the space with winner’s ads.
