I’ve read on AdSense blog about new changes which will be introduced to AdSense program and that’s not something you will be glad to hear. I have to say I’m pretty angry. So what did Google do again to make you angry (again). You want to know what the changes are? Read on.

There are 2 major changes:

AdSense referrals only available for publishers in North America, Latin America and Japan

It doesn’t matter how good you blog is or how much money do you make from AdSense. It doesn’t even matter how much new referrals do you get for Google. It’s just where you blog from. On his blog you can read the explanation:

We’ve found that this referral product has not performed as well as we had hoped in these regions.

I think this is very stupid idea and will cause Google to loose money.

Payment system

Current payment system for publishers who promote AdSense is being changed back to the way it was before. If you refer someone to AdSense who makes $100 in 180 days you get $100. You used to get $250 prior the changes.

Google reduced earnings by more than once and it really makes you think if you want to make effort to refer someone ever again. I guess they have to many referrers who are not making any money and they want to minimize this numbers. You can read entire post on AdSense blog.
